  • What training equipment do you use or recommend?

    We train the dog in front of us. We are opened to using all tools in the toolbox if it is what is best for the dog in front of us. Every dog is different so our recommendations are different for each dog. We use everything between clicker and treats to prong collars.

  • What happens in your training program when the dog does not respond in the way you want him to?

    We celebrate! We always want to reward that dog with whatever motivates them (toys,food, affection, ect)

  • What happens in your training program when the dog does not respond in the way you want him to?:

    We give a fair correction and reset. Allowing the dog to try again.

  • How do you correct unwanted behavior?

    It depends on what the behavior is and what the dog deems as a negative. We use something the dog seems negative to correct the unwanted behavior and the use something the dog seems positive to reinforce the good behavior we want instead.

  • How will you know if the dog you are training is stressed during the training?

    By the body language the dog gives me.

  • What professional dog training associations are you a member of?

    None at the moment

  • What type of training do you prefer? Group classes, one-on-one, special needs, agility, etc.?

    We do group, one on one, board and train, cgc, reactive/Aggresive cases.

  • How many years have you been working in the field of dog training and/or behavior?

    Basic/ advance pet obedience, service dog, sport dogs, personal protection, drug dogs.

  • What type of preliminary education in learning theory, behavior analysis, animal husbandry, and ethology do you have?

    I have mentored under trainers for 4 years along with going to many seminars to continue my education.

  • What type of training do you practice?

    Positive Reinforcement, Negative Reinforcement, Postive Punishment, Negative Punishment
